Every forecast this site will show is frozen before the outcome and graded against a stated null; until a corridor has been graded, it says so.

Why this exists — in plain English, and for the kids

A shipment is a chain: a factory, a road or railway, an export terminal, a sea passage, a receiving port, an inland leg. A working port with a flooded railway behind it is a closed corridor. This map draws the whole chain and asks the one useful question about any detour: does it share the original route's exposure?
If it works: If it works, a buyer sees a dependency they had missed before it costs them, and every warning carries the record of how often this site was right.
For the kids
Think of a toy train that has to cross a bridge, go through a tunnel and stop at a station. If the bridge is out, can the train take the other track — or does the other track use the same bridge?
If it works: Grown-ups get told early when the bridge might be out, and they can check how many times this website guessed right.
